The online application period opens on 1st February 2025 at 12:00 noon and closes on 1st March 2025 at 23:59 hours. The preliminary examination is scheduled for 23rd March 2025, the main written examination on 15th June 2025, and the viva-voce test is planned for August/September 2025.

There are approximately 212 regular vacancies for the position of Civil Judge. The pay scale is between Rs. 77,840/- and Rs. 1,36,520/-, plus admissible allowances, according to the rules. A detailed category-wise breakdown is provided, including reservations for women, persons with benchmark disabilities, and various social categories.

General category applicants must not have crossed 35 years of age on the last date of application submission. Candidates from Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socially & Educationally Backward Classes, Persons with Benchmark Disability, and Economically Weaker Sections are given a relaxation up to 38 years. Employees working in courts or allied departments receive a relaxation of up to 5 years or equal to their service duration, whichever is less, but the upper age limit for them can not exceed 40 years under any circumstance.

Candidates must produce originals and one copy of numerous documents during the Viva-voce test. This includes: the online application printout with e-payment receipt; school leaving and educational certificates; bar council registration and practice certificate; computer knowledge certificates; caste certificates; disability certificates (if applicable); references from respectable persons; a practice certificate (after publication of Main Written Exam results) from their respective authority; no objection certificate from their employer and any Gazette showing change of name.
