The Spices Board, under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, has announced an opening for a Technical Analyst – Microbiology on a contract basis at its Quality Evaluation Laboratory in Kandla. The position is open to qualified candidates, with preference given to those residing in the regions/corporations/municipalities where the laboratory is located.

- Position: Technical Analyst – Microbiology

- Remuneration: ₹30,000 (Consolidated) per month
- Contract Term: One year
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of the walk-in test
Eligibility Criteria:
- Essential Qualification: Post Graduate degree in Microbiology or equivalent Post Graduate degree with Microbiology as one of the subjects covered in the said qualification from a recognised University/Institute.
- Experience:
- Post Graduate degree in Microbiology: Two years experience in microbiological quality testing
- Post Graduate degree with Microbiology as one of the subjects: Three years experience in microbiological quality testing
Job Description:
The Technical Analyst will assist in the standardisation of new parameters and projects related to quality control of spices, as well as render analytical service based on Quality systems and Manuals of Spices Board.
