POWERGRID Recruitment 2025 : Powergrid, one of the largest transmission utilities in the world and a Maharatna Enterprise of the Government of India, has announced the recruitment of experienced professionals for the position of Field Supervisor (Safety) on a fixed term contract basis. The engagement is purely temporary and contractual for an initial period of two years, extendable up to a maximum of five years based on work requirements.

Vacancies: A total of 28 vacancies are available.
Age Limit: The upper age limit is 29 years as on 25th March 2025.
Essential Qualification: Candidates must have a full-time Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, Fire Technology and Safety) with a minimum of 55% marks. Higher technical qualifications like B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech/M.E are not allowed.
Experience: A minimum of one year of post-qualification experience in safety implementation at work sites is required.
Remuneration: Selected candidates will be paid a monthly remuneration in the pay band of Rs 23,000-3%-1,05,000/-, with an initial basic pay of Rs 23,000 plus other allowances. An annual increment of 3% will be provided on successful completion of each year of engagement.

Application Fee: The application fee is Rs 300/-. SC/ST/Ex-SM candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.
Selection Process: The selection process involves scrutiny of applications, a screening test, and empanelment based on screening test marks. The screening test will be of 1-hour duration and include a Technical Knowledge Test and an Aptitude Test.
Test Centres: Screening tests/computer-based tests will be conducted pan-India.
