What are the educational qualifications required for the Superintendent and Junior Assistant positions?
For the Superintendent position, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University or equivalent and have a working knowledge of computers including Windows, MS Office, database handling and the internet. For the Junior Assistant position, candidates need to have completed the 12th class or an equivalent qualification from a recognised Board or University. Both posts also require a mandatory typing speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi on a computer, which is considered qualifying in nature.
What are the age limits and relaxations for CBSE Recruitment 2025?
Candidates for the Junior Assistant position must be between 18 and 27 years of age. For the Superintendent position, the maximum age limit is 30 years. There are various age relaxations available for candidates from specific categories: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), 10 years for PwBD (Unreserved), 13 years for PwBD (OBC NCL), 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST), and age relaxation is available for ex-servicemen after deducting military service (provided resulting age doesn’t exceed maximum age by more than 3 years), and a 10 year relaxation for women.
What is the selection process for CBSE Recruitment 2025?
The selection process for the Superintendent position involves a Tier-1 MCQ based screening examination followed by a Tier-2 objective and descriptive type written examination. The Junior Assistant position requires candidates to appear for a Tier-1 MCQ based examination and a subsequent skill test which is qualifying in nature. The cut-off marks vary by category and it is essential for candidates to score above 30% of the maximum marks in either Tier.
How will the examination be conducted and what is the marking scheme?
The Tier-1 examination is an objective type MCQ (OMR-based) format with questions set in both Hindi and English (except for the English comprehension section). The Tier-2 is also objective (OMR-based) in addition to descriptive components for the Superintendent position. Each correct answer in both Tier-1 and Tier-2 will be awarded three marks, while one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Unanswered questions will not receive any marks. The Tier-1 exam will have five parts including current affairs, mental ability, arithmetic ability, language skills and computer proficiency. For the Superintendent position Tier-2 consists of content areas such as current affairs, Indian history and culture, economics, geography, science and technology, public administration, governance, and English language. The Junior Assistant Tier-1 exam comprises of general knowledge, reasoning and maths ability, general Hindi and English, basic computer operation, and knowledge of school education.
